Welcome to the Official Website of LeCount Holmes, Jr.

I’m a 75-year-old storyteller with roots in the rich traditions of radio and live performance. Inspired early by my father’s encouragement, I discovered the power of words and performance.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of engaging audiences as a radio personality and later as an international one-man show—portraying historical icons like Frederick Douglass to bring history to life.

My passion for sharing transformative narratives has evolved into my latest creative endeavor: writing and performing stories that challenge conventional taboos.

I invite you to purchase Taboos Unspoken on Amazon, explore upcoming events, or reach out to book me for your next speaking engagement.

Book Reviews

  • I was impressed with the book. The writing was clear, and the book was an easy read. Congratulations on a job well done.

  • Finished the book this evening Brother! It was the most exciting essay on intimacy I've ever read. I knew when I first met you in the early 70s there was something special about you. I especially enjoyed reading about the special bond that you had with your Dad and Grandfather. You were blessed to be mentored by them and the ladies....Oh brother, the ladies.

  • This book is jaw-dropping!! I couldn't put it down. 🔥🔥

Taboos Unspoken
